Sound Installation

Forest of Alberts

Forest of Alberts is an 8-channel sound experiment in reanimating discarded objects with the voice. In this installation, aluminum pipes found from the Harvard recycling center are turned into speakers using transducers, and made alive with 8 different voices.

Listeners can lean in to one pipe and hear a single voice talking, or step back and listen their sound in unison.
