Spatial Sonets is a series of musical compositions and sound installations that seek to reactivate the listener's perception of sound in space. There are remarkable transformations on a sound as it traverses a space and into your ears. These works are aimed at re-engaging the listener with this everyday wonder.
Specifically, I research the compositional uses of spatial acoustic phenomenon like flutter echoes, resonant pitches, reverb and echo, and the amplification of native sound. This was part of my senior creative thesis in the Art, Film, and Visual Studies department at Harvard University.
